Due to the demand for high quality clipping, bathing and grooming, Millcroft decided to build a dedicated grooming parlour. Situated across the courtyard from our Cockermouth surgery the grooming parlour has bespoke washing and bathing facilities to cater for dogs and cats of all sizes, alongside our hand-held drying facilities and cubicles

To ensure a relaxed and pleasant environment for the animals, the grooming area has been designed so that the animals have a view out over the courtyard.

We have two groomers, Wendy Walker and Kerry Coulton. Both have experience of grooming most breeds and are happy to offer advice in style and after-care to maintain the condition of the animal's coat. Both Wendy and Kerry will tailor the clip according to any requirements that the owner may have and have even been known to apply nail polish on request!

As well as offering a full grooming service, your animal can have a check of its anal glands and you can request a nail trim when you drop your pet off. Dropping off and picking your pet up couldn't be easier as there is free car parking right outside the grooming parlour.
