Receptionist

Millcroft Veterinary Group is a fiercely independent, six centre, mixed practice in the western Lake District. We have an opportunity for a veterinary receptionist to join our friendly team. 

Millcroft Veterinary Group is a member of XLVets, a community of independently-owned veterinary practices. 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Client communication
  • Booking appointments
  • Dispensing medicines
  • Recording client details, taking and recording payments
  • Stock monitoring
  • Reception area cleanliness

We offer:

Full time position - 38 hour week over 4 days, plus weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Part-time would be considered.

Starting salary of £25,800.00

Full driving licence essential

Training:

You are required to undertake - British Veterinary Receptionist Foundation Training

Holiday:

5.8 pro-rata weeks of paid holiday per year, including public holidays, with additional allowance for long service.
